Anticipate Invitations Speeds Up Production With Custom Dies.

About Anticipate Invitations

The story of how Micahel started Anticipate Invitations, a custom invitation company, all began with a wedding. And not just any wedding, his very own.

To prepare for the big day, Michael hand-crafted his and his soon-to-be wife’s invitations. Shortly after his friends and family started to receive these invites, they didn’t just RSVP to the wedding – they also requested Michael make some of their invitations as well. What started as a side hobby was soon to become something more.

Since then, his company has been featured in Vogue UK, The Knot, Martha Stewart Weddings, Style Me Pretty and many more.

Challenge

As Michael’s business began to flourish, he moved from Los Angeles to Pennsylvania to Texas, where he now resides. All throughout traveling and finding places for his family to call home, he was busy building his company. “The hardest part throughout the whole journey was getting accustomed to the increase in production,” Michael said, as Anticipate Invitations took off and almost tripled in size.

Solution

Michael credits Custom Shape Pros for playing a big part in helping him through this transition. Before he would hand cut and hand punch stationery goods, taking him hours upon hours to produce. With his die-cutting machine and custom dies, these hours have been cut down to nearly 5 or 10 minutes.

Custom Shape Pros allowed him to speed up his production, giving him more time to be a family man. Michael mentioned it gave him “more time to focus on [his] clients, being prepared, and being able to add in little extra touches the client didn’t even ask for.”

WHY CSP

Having custom dies gave Michael the opportunity to grow his business by making unparalleled designs with unique and hard-to-cut shapes. He was able to tailor invites specifically to match his clients’ personalities, and with the feature of the Pinnovation tool on his dies, he was able to optimize his artistic abilities to create a sleek and professional look. Plus, the option of always being able to come back for a new die gives him an immeasurable number of ideas and visions to work with.

Michael’s die-cutting process also allowed him to offer his clients something they love at a reasonable price. “[A] beautiful time in your life shouldn’t have to break the bank,” Michael stated. “After all, it isn’t about the money for me. It’s about seeing the satisfaction on [client] faces as they take a look at the end result.”
