Before getting into the story of how Custom Shape Pros became a lifesaver for Banded Pines, you are going to want to know a little background about Kim and Rhonda. They are the fierce mother-daughter duo behind the making of Banded Pines. These two determined and passionate women built a company together in hopes of changing lives, even the lives of our furry four-legged friends.

You see, Kim and Rhonda wanted to break barriers on the kind of adventures you could take your dogs. They wanted these experiences to help create an unbreakable bond between dog owners and their pets. And they wanted to be a solution people could choose when creating a healthier lifestyle. (Amazing, right?) But how did they manage this, you might ask? By recognizing a problem and acting on it.

Kim had a husky herself, called Voodoo, which meant she was no stranger when it came to collars and dog gear. After months of searching for a well-designed collar to take her beloved dog on exciting outdoor trips, she realized there was a huge lack of durable dog gear in the market. So, she went to her mother, pitched the idea of making their own, and with a lot of hard work and research they began producing collars, leashes, bandanas, and more! 

Challenge

The making of Banded Pines wasn’t all smooth sailing though, there were some setbacks and the start-up was a slow and tedious process, from building their brand to finding products that would help meet their high-quality production standards. The two quickly realized that making some products by hand was going to be too time-consuming. And they wanted to be able to spend more of their energy and focus on giving their customers a great experience with their company, not by spending it cutting out shapes.

Solution

But, Kim and Rhonda, are two tenacious go-getters and weren’t about to let anything come in between them and their goals. So, they sought out for a better way to make some of their gear, and with YouTube’s help, they found Custom Shape Pros.

After talking with our custom experts, sketching up some drafts, and designing some shapes, their custom dies arrived, and they couldn’t have been more pleased with the outcome. Kim stated the custom dies were a ‘God-send’, because not only do the die cuts help reduce the amount of time it takes to make their bandanas considerably, but they also help to keep their reputation of making reliable, well-made, and consistent products.

They are currently planning out designs for new products and hope to finalize them soon to start the custom die process all over again. Banded Pines is continually looking for ways to make an impact in this world. And their company’s growth is not slowing down anytime soon.
